What is the UDPN ? The UDPN is the most advanced interoperable global payments network for regulated digital currencies, including regulated stablecoins and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). The UDPN promotes financial inclusion by allowing enterprises worldwide to connect with centralised and decentralised digital currency systems directly.
Our Value Proposition Addresses the challenge of interoperability by creating a global payments network designed for regulated digital currencies across all technical platforms.
UDPN Business Node provides a single gateway for any financial institution or enterprise to transact directly with all the digital currencies onboarded to the UDPN.
Financial institutions and technology companies can deploy their own smart contract-based services to create innovative new financial services by leveraging access to all digital currency systems connected by the UDPN.
To ensure privacy and security, no personal data or private keys are stored on the UDPN and only stored locally on commercial bank or enterprise IT systems.
The UDPN is managed via a decentralised governance model consisting of 6 and eventually 24 UDPN Alliance members with equal voting and revenue-sharing rights.

CBDC Tool
This modeling tool is part of our CBDC awareness effort and can be used to help understand all possible criteria involved in a CBDC or stablecoin/tokenized deposit from both architectural and policy perspectives. In practice, we believe no two CBDCs will look the same and we will continue to add more criteria to the tool as they emerge.
